Farm Kids, Cats and Corn

Fall is around the corner. The cool weather we've experienced the last few weeks make it feel like fall is already here! We're seeing signs that summer is turning into fall. Here are some recent images from our farm.

We have lots of cows calving in August, this cow is relaxing in the maternity pen. . .

Our corn is progressing well. . .

The corn we grow is a variety used as a cattle feed called corn silage, which is different than sweet corn. But our neighbors down the road at North Corner Farm grow delicious sweet corn and other vegetables. . .
