November Happenings – 30 Days Ag Bloggers & Movember

I'd like to share two activities happening in November; 30 Days of Ag Blogging and Movember. It's easy to support these events without leaving your home.

30 Days Ag Bloggers

Several agriculture bloggers are embarking on “30 Days” of blogs in November. Each blogger picked a theme and will post something related to that theme everyday in November. I’ve listed the dairy farmers and the bloggers I know who are participating in this neat adventure. Join me in supporting their efforts by checking out their work. . .

Movember

Movember has been designated a month to talk about men’s health issues, specifically prostate cancer. The dairy industry is getting involved to support the cause. The Movember movement challenges men to grow facial hair to raise awareness and funds for men's health.
Why is this so important? One in six men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime. Many of us know men who have been diagnosed with prostate cancer. Supporting medical tests to detect prostate health will go a long way in prevention. Join me in Liking Movember on Facebook  in support of this effort.
