Visit a Real Dairy Farm this Fall

There are two more open events at our farm this season. Join us to see the cows, taste milk, and enjoy the beautiful fall colors from our dairy on the hill.

Cow Tales Adventures (for children 5 & under w/ caregiver)
October 7 from 10:00am-12:00pm @ $6/person (12 months & under free)
This farm adventure allows young children and caregivers to take a wagon ride around the farm, pet the calves, ride the train, play, and have fun! Arrive by 10am and plan to be at the farm until 12pm to take part in all of the activities.  


Milk from Cow to Bottle Tour & Tasting 
October 11 from 1:00-3:00pm @ $6/person (12 months & under free)
Interested in tasting delicious fresh milk and meeting the cows who produced it? Attend “Milk from Cow to Bottle Tour & Tasting”. This event will include milking parlor tours, wagon rides, petting the calves, the cow train for kids, viewing the creamery, and milk tasting. This is an open house, so visitors can come and go during the event.

Taste milk bottled at our on-farm Rowdy Cow Creamery. This is one of only a few farmstead milk bottling operations in Ohio. The milk is fresh and delicious! Milk will be for sale during all tours and events, so bring your cooler.

Parking is free. Activities are outdoors and indoors. No reservations are necessary. Remember, you're visiting a farm so dress for the occasion. The farm is located at 13181 Claridon Troy Road, Burton, OH 44021.

A Unique Experience on our Dairy Farm

Looking for a fun, educational and unique family activity? Participate in Cow Tales Adventures at our dairy farm on May 21st or June 3rd.  This event is for children 5 and under accompanied by a caregiver. It’s from 10am to 12pm and the cost is $6/person (12 months & under are free). No reservations necessary.

Cow Tales Adventures includes;

  • Guided tour of the milking parlor to watch the cows being milked
  • Visit to the calf area where you can pet and interact with calves
  • Wagon ride tour of the farm to see where the cows live
  • Rides for children on the Chugga Chugga Moo Moo train  
  • Time to play on the farm-themed outdoor playground, pedal tractors & corn box
  • Indoor Junior Dairyman play area with farm themed toys
  • Cow Craft activity
  • Cheese snack  
  • Lots of fun and photo opportunities!

Some of these activities are outdoors and some are inside. The event will go on rain or shine, we recommend wearing boots or old shoes. Please be prepared to pay with cash or check, we are not able to process credit cards.

Our farm is also available for scheduled group tours May, June, July, September and October. Reservations are required. A farm tour is a neat opportunity for school groups, day camps, scouts, service clubs, senior groups or any group interested in experiencing a working dairy. The minimum group size is 16 people. An Authentic Farm Experience

We’re offering a unique experience for those interested in visiting an authentic dairy farm. During
May and June, we’ll be open to the public for three special events. In addition, private tours and party packages are available by appointment from April to October.

A visit to our farm includes a guided tour of the milking parlor to watch the cows being milked, a
wagon ride to the barn to see where the cows live, a visit to the calf area to pet the calves, agri-
education stations, outdoor playground, corn box, pedal tractors, craft activity, farm games, and a
Junior Dairyman indoor play area.

Celebrate June Dairy Month by visiting a dairy to learn about cows and milk! The events listed above will be going on the entire time we're open. Come and go anytime.

Parking is free. Drinks and ice cream bars are available for sale or bring your own picnic. Activities
are outdoors and indoors. No reservations are necessary. These special events will proceed rain or shine. Remember, you're visiting a farm so dress for the occasion.

If you have a group of 15 or more, book a private tour of the farm. Group tours are perfect for schools, day camps, scouts, 4-H clubs, play groups, senior groups or any group! Looking for a unique party experience? Check out our party packages which provide private use of our facility.

Meet the Cows and Calves on our Dairy this Fall

Come on down to our dairy farm this fall! We’ve scheduled four special events that are open to the public in September and October. In addition to these events, we welcome school tours, group tours, and birthday parties by appointment for the season through October 31st.

We’re a family-friendly destination located in scenic Geauga County, just a short 45 minute drive from Cleveland.

Bring your family to experience a modern, working dairy farm. The activities on our farm include:

Guided tour of the milking parlor to watch the cows being milked. . .


Hayride tour of the farm and freestall barn to see where the cows live. . .


Visit to the calf area to pet the calves. . .


Displays about dairy cows and milk products. . .

Outdoor farm-themed playground. . .



Front porch play area with a corn box, corn hole and bean bag toss. . .

Indoor play area for the younger children. . .

Make a cow craft. . .

Relax indoors while watching the cows being milked. . .

Cow Tales Adventure & Storytime (5 & under w/ parent) – Wednesday, September 19 from 10am-
Noon
$5/person (12 months & under free) Reservations Required. Limited to 40 people.This unique farm adventure allows young children and parents to tour the farm plus read a farm-themed book, make a cow craft, play in the indoor play area and have a dairy snack. THIS EVENT IS SOLD OUT.

Dairy Farmer for a Day - Sunday, September 23 1-6pm @ $5/person (children 2 & under free)
Visitors will enjoy hands-on farm activities including bottle feeding a calf, planting a seed to take
home, and farming with the petal tractors.

Tractor Fun Day - Saturday, September 29 1-6pm @ $5/person (children 2 & under free)
Explore a real tractor, ride petal tractors, climb on tractor tires, play with toy tractors and more.

Crazy About Cows - Friday, October 12 (NEOEA Day) 1-6pm @ $5/person (children 2 & under
free) Discover how milk is produced on your day off from school!

Parking is free. Drinks and ice cream bars are available for sale or bring your own picnic. No
reservations are required for our activities on September 23, 29 and October 12. Just come on down anytime between 1-6pm.
